You’re there in the Darkness

You’re there in the darkness When i feel all alone You promised to be with me As your word has always shown

Come Holy Spirit and fill me I need your transforming touch To do all you have commanded Because I love you Lord so much.

I know the days are dark now And many troubles are within But you promised to be with me So cleanse me from my sin

Lord fill me with you spirit Guide me in the way to go To To serve you Lord my saviour In whatever you call me to sow

I know that you will be with me Your voice will be my guide I will listen and will follow Because you’ll be right by my side.

You promised never to leave me Your words are always true So guide me my dear Jesus I will forever worship you.

About Poems & Words of Faith

I belong to a local church which i love. I am on the Pastoral Care Team, I lead worship and sing in some of the worship bands. I started a Coffee Morning a while ago where once a month people come in from the local community and church to enjoy a time of fellowship, fun etc and there is no charge for the tea/coffee etc I have now left this church as i moved but really happy at the new church, on the Prayer Team and Worship Team, I work part time and have 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren and i am very busy !!!
