It just came to me

It came to me as I had a cup of tea at this early hour.

Jesus you have said to keep our eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Not the troubles, not the pain, not the lack or anything else but on You.

These things aren’t from you they are from the enemy, you may allow them but if you do its because we may have something to learn. Its in the battles we lean on You, rely on You, cry out to You and see You move the mountains

You have said ‘ take heart I have overcome the world’, ‘fear not for I am with you’. ‘I will never leave you or forsake you’. ‘No weapon formed against you will prosper’.

You are with us always. Help us to keep our eyes on you, your word, your promises, your grace, your truth, your love. Keep us firm in the hope you have set before us.

Let’s praise Him in the storms as well as the sunny days. \0/

About Poems & Words of Faith

I belong to a local church which i love. I am on the Pastoral Care Team, I lead worship and sing in some of the worship bands. I started a Coffee Morning a while ago where once a month people come in from the local community and church to enjoy a time of fellowship, fun etc and there is no charge for the tea/coffee etc I have now left this church as i moved but really happy at the new church, on the Prayer Team and Worship Team, I work part time and have 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren and i am very busy !!!
