I was reading Gods word this morning as you do but I so wanted to hear from Him. You know that feeling when you really need God to speak or to know His presence with you because He feels like a million miles away right now.

When we seem at our lowest He seems furthest away. I was reminded that He isn’t. David sometimes starts off his Psalms with how low he is but ends with how great God is or that He knows God has heard his cry.

That’s what we need to do. If we have health issues, worries, not sure of the future, not sure of where God wants you to be or do. Or depressed like Elijah was, cry out to God. Tell Him how you are feeling, He knows anyway so be honest with Him. If it hurts, tell Him, if you’re down, feeling alone, feeling lost and not sure of the future tell Him. Be real with Him. Only He can change situations, only He can fill you with His love that we so need. Only He can heal and be there for you every minute of every day.

He is right there with you. He is El Roi the God who sees.

He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord will provide – Jehovah Rapha the Lord who heals, Jehovah shalom- the Lord is peace, Jehovah Raah – The Lord my shepherd and most of all He is our Abba, our daddy.

Spend time with Him, read His word, cry out to Him. Tell Him what is on your heart, be honest, He knows anyway and ask for His guidance, presence whatever it may be that you need right now.

He is our Abba Father, He will never leave us or forsake us, He is with us every minute of the day. We are never alone, always loved and safe in His arms
