Lord we cry out to you daily,
We need your loving touch
Things have got so hard
We need you Lord so much

Problems seem to keep coming
In all sorts of different ways
We feel we’ve lost you Lord
In the night and darkest days

But there is a hope within us
We gently hear you speak
Was it you who whispered?
Your strong in me, not weak

My arms are wrapped around you
I see your every tear
Come, spend some time with me
In my presence do not fear

I’ve heard your cries my child
I’ve seen you struggle so
But I am here always
And I will never let you go

Keep doing what you’re doing
Keep coming unto me
You lost your way through the mess
But I’m here just look and see

Abide in my presence
Read my word as you do
The dawn is nearly broken
And the light is breaking through

I am always here my child
My love for you is deep
Keep abiding in my presence
