Poem – Jesus

The stars shine bright
In the heavens up above
Just like my lord and Saviour
They shine just like His love.

I’ve never seen such beauty
And in His face I see
A love I’ve never known before
And my hope for eternity

I look into His face
He’s everything to me
He is my joy and peace
Lord come and set me free

From all the pain of the past
I look to you to heal
I know that in your light
Theres nothing to conceal

He is my beloved
The one I seek each day
For He has won my heart
In his love I will ever stay.

About Poems & Words of Faith

I belong to a local church which i love. I am on the Pastoral Care Team, I lead worship and sing in some of the worship bands. I started a Coffee Morning a while ago where once a month people come in from the local community and church to enjoy a time of fellowship, fun etc and there is no charge for the tea/coffee etc I have now left this church as i moved but really happy at the new church, on the Prayer Team and Worship Team, I work part time and have 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren and i am very busy !!!
